DC NATIVE ARTIST
AN ARTIST NOT A BUSINESS
Artist. Muralist. Poet. Photographer. Creator.
Lovoz is a native DC resident and an eclectic artist who blends DC folk art, Salvadorian American, Gypsy (Gitano) and Native American (North, Central, South) influences. Her work is rebellious, eclectic, abstract, sexual, emotional, political, expressive and urban. Lovoz's work is ever evolving and her images exhibit powerful examples of sexuality, human expressions and reveal strong emotions. Her art spans various disciplines and areas. She is known for what she calls "Spirited Lines" abstract artworks that goes based on music, your energy and/or the energy in the room and if commissioned based on your story. Spirited Lines are created freestyled - short curved and/or long lines that create rhythm and movement throughout the composition inviting the audience in to find pockets of hidden messages and images embedded within the artwork. Lovoz believes that all artists and their artwork have something to offer to the universe. She hopes to attract like-minded minds and relate to her audience through her artworks.
